Leadership Amarillo & Canyon Announces Class of 2027

​

AMARILLO, Texas — Leadership Amarillo & Canyon (LAC) is pleased to announce the selection of its Class of 2027, bringing together 57 professionals from across the Texas Panhandle for a nine-month leadership development experience designed to strengthen the community by developing and empowering leaders.

The Class of 2027 represents a broad range of industries and organizations, including education, healthcare, banking, agriculture, government, nonprofit organizations, public safety, and business. Through Leadership Amarillo & Canyon, participants will build meaningful relationships, expand their understanding of the region, and gain the knowledge and perspective needed to make a positive impact in their workplaces and communities.

Throughout the program, participants will take part in immersive learning experiences, engage with community leaders, explore regional opportunities and challenges, and develop the skills necessary to lead with purpose and collaboration.

Founded in 1981, Leadership Amarillo & Canyon is committed to investing in the people of the Texas Panhandle and cultivating leaders who are prepared to serve, collaborate, and create lasting impact. The program runs from September through May and brings together professionals from across the region to explore the many facets of community leadership.
